Kekec-kun is a ninja from Slovenia, abandoned by his parents and raised by field cows. The cows taught him the secrets of emptying his mind as he stared at them, just chewing, for hours on end, and their gazes brought him into a deep trance. In this state he saw his ninja calling his ninja teachings, and only with that, he became a ninja all of Slovenia was proud of. However, all his life he felt a deeper calling in his soul, a tug at his heart strings, like there was something still missing in his life.

When he felt this urge became too much, he allowed his yearnings to lead him to the mysterious land of Japan. For a long time, he searched determined to find out what it was that was missing. And then, one rainy day, he had found it. A cave at the base of Mt. Fuji, hidden by trees and dense rain. There was nothing but darkness as he walked through the cave, but with his cow-senses, he could see every crevice in the walls. All of a sudden, a bright light and a sound of clashing blades pierced through the shadows, so bright that Kekec-kun could see two figures clearly; the goblin slayer, and crouched before him, vulnerable and nearly defeated, a goblin.

The slayer’s blade kept the spark from before, set ablaze with menacing flames. However, as the cowering goblin gazed upon Kekec-kun, as their eyes met, he knew what he had to do. His destiny burned in him, fate calling, and the vision of goblin’s luscious, golden hair ignited another fire, this time within Kekec-kun. He drew his sword, the katana he’d had even before the teachings of the cows, and a blinding shimmer sparkled through the cave, reflecting Gobln-kun’s astonished eyes. With one clean swipe, the goblin slayer’s head lay on the ground. They faced each other, eye-to-eye, a rosy blush rising to their cheeks.

Kekec lead them back outside where the sky had turned to a brilliant sunset, warm and loving. As they walked through the forest, their path was strewn with sakura petals, swirling weightlessly in the wind, and Kekec-kun knew, finally, what he had been looking for.

Nekoč, pred davnimi časi, je v daljni deželi Slo-ponski, državi, nastali po združitvi dežele bojnih pastirjev, Slovenije, in kraljevine mogočnih bitij, Japonske, živel vsem znani Ninja Kekec. Imel je bojevito moč, s katero je lahko premagal vse senčne sile, ki so tavale po tisti deželi.

En dan pa je v temni gozd udarila nevarna svetloba, tako močna, da je nastala neznosna tema. V tleh je nastala gromozanska vbitina, iz katere se je dvignil mogočni in grozni goblin Zlatko. Ninja Kekec je zaslišal ta ropot in je že vedel, da ga dežela kliče na pomoč. Zgrabil je svojo pohodniško palico, ki se je nenadoma spremenila v mogočni, ostri meč, v katerem so bile shranjene vse že poražene duše teh, ki so si drznili na Slo-ponskem delati nemir.

Ko je Ninja Kekec prišel do gozda, je še prej manjša vbitina postala globoka jama, kjer se je naselil goblin Zlatko. Ta je, ko je zagledal Kekca, skočil iz jame proti njemu in skušal z začaranim kamenjem ustaviti Kekca, a Kekec, takšen badass kot je, je že predvideval ta napad in sunil svoj meč proti goblinu, kar je instantno posrkalo njegovo dušo.

Tako je bila Slo-ponska ponovno rešena!

Netflix in Nickelodeon združujeta moči

Le nekaj dni zatem, ko je Disney zagnal storitev s pretočno vsebino Disney+, je Netflix naznanil večletno sodelovanje s televizijsko hišo Nickelodeon, ki zajema originalne animirane filme in serije na obstoječih Nickelodeonovih likih ter povsem nove ideje.

Pri Netflixu so glede tega podali naslednjo izjavo: "Nickelodeon je ustvaril številne like, ki jih otroci obožujejo, mi pa se že veselimo, da bomo lahko pripovedovali povsem originalne zgodbe, ki preoblikujejo in razširjajo svetove, v katerih bivajo."

Sodelovanje je že obrodilo posebni epizodi, kot sta Rocko's Modern Life: Static Cling in Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus. V nadaljevanju pa bi naj sledili še posebni epizodi, ki slonita na The Loud House in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Ker je torej Disney lansiral svojo novo storitev s pretočno vsebino, je Netflix glede na pogodbo bil primoran odstraniti večino Disneyjevih vsebin. Partnerstvo z Nickelodeonom je vsekakor rezultat tega, ki pa ima zaenkrat prednost pred Disneyjevo storitvijo, saj bo vsa otroška oz. družinska vsebina na voljo po vsem svetu in ne bo regijsko omejena, kot bodo nekatere Disneyjeve vsebine na Disney+, ki je trenutno tako ali tako omejen na določena območja, in sicer ZDA, Kanado in Nizozemsko.

Brian Robbins, Nickelodeonov predsednik k temu dodaja: "Nickelodeonov naslednji korak naprej je, da se širi čez linearne platforme, naše širše vsebinsko sodelovanje z Netflixom pa je ključna pot k temu cilju. Ideje in delo v našem studiu se kar vrstijo, zato komaj čakamo na sodelovanje z Melisso in Netflixovo ekipo na premium seznamu originalne animirane vsebine za otroke in družine širom sveta."

Ninja Kekec je navkljub imenu, ki ponazarja dušo Slovenije in slovenstva nasploh, imel v sebi tudi malo Japonske. Že v mladih letih se je navdušil nad japonskimi filmi in s tem tudi ninjami. Želel si je postati najboljši ninja!

Tako se je podal v jamo, v katero ni prodirala niti trohica svetlobe. V bistvu je bila polna teme! Kot izurjen ninja je Ninja Kekec zapazil senco, ki se je bliskovito premaknila po steni jame. Iz sence je zrasla pojava, in pred Ninja kekca je skočil goblin Zlatko.

Ninja Kekec je prijel Za svoj kratki meč in zamahnil proti Zlatku, ki je zarjul in pokazal zobe, potem pa jo ucvrl globlje v jamo. Kekec mu ni sledil, saj se je odločil, da je zmaga pripadala njemu. Keri Ninja Kekec …

Netflix najavil nadaljevanje serije The witcher

20. decembra letos na storitev s pretočno vsebino Netflix prihaja 1. sezona serije The Witcher, ki sloni na knjigah Andrzeja Sapkowskija in istoimenski seriji video iger.

Že pred samo prvo sezono pa je Netflix najavil, da so odobrili že 2. sezono, katere začetek produkcije je načrtovan za začetek leta 2020, izid pa za leto 2021.

Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, izvršna producentka prve sezone bo ponovno prevzela to vlogo, pri tem pa glede tega dodaja: "Navdušena sem, da lahko potrdimo ponovno vrnitev na staro celino z nadaljnjim pripovedovanjem zgodb o Geraltu, Yennefer in Ciri, še preden so oboževalci lahko videli prvo sezono."

They would need to find a place to rest for the night soon. Darkness was falling across the Shadow forest and it wasn’t a place where a human or goblin would want to be caught out in the open. Knowing his companion Goblin Zlatko, they would probably be camping in a cave again. But they were running out of time.

They had been travelling together for months now, hunting for a rumoured soul mage living in the cursed forests of Slovenia. He couldn’t wait to get his body back. It just wasn’t the same fighting in a goblin’s body. The sword just didn’t feel right in his hand. He was really looking forward to being able to stay in fancy inns and take hot baths again.

Climbing a hill to find a cave, he suddenly heard a shout: “Ninja Kekec, I can see the mage’s tower!”

He turned to his companion and then they both started sprinting through the forest. They quickly reached the tower.

As they walked up to the door, it opened to a tall, wizened old man wearing a fluffy bathrobe over comfy-looking pyjamas. He had a scowl on his face, but after explaining their situation, about the curse by a Kappa from Japan, the months of travelling and everything they went through, he decided to help them and quickly removed the curse. He could now finally see the light at the end of his long journey, glad that everything turned out for the best.

There was once an epic horse race across the country of Slovenia. The prize was a fat stack of cash and a free trip to Japan.

Naturally all the weebs around the globe gathered for this epic 6-day adventure. The rules are long with a few checkpoints, a time frame, a point system that I will not explain.

Goblin Zlatko was one of the most anticipated contesters. He crawled out of his cave on a raptor-horse. A very strange ridding style he has as Goblin Zlatko emerges from the shadow of darkness. With the bizzare raptor-horse, everyone cheers for him.

Another peculiar horse ridder was Ninja Kekec with a surprisingly thin sword. He rode into the light, full of excitement and good intent. Not all the journey was seen by cameras and spectators. That is why this story is about the secret adventures of Goblin Zlatko & Ninja Kekec.

At first their clashes were competitive and dangerous. Fighting was prohibited, so Ninja Kekec could not use his trustworthy katana. Goblin Zlatko, however, never showed any ill intent. It’s as if he was touched by the pureness of Ninja Kekec’s soul. All Zlatko wanted was friendship and wholesome moments with this new potential friend riding ridding skilfully besides Kekec.

And a wholesome friendship Zlatko got. After a few encounters they were basically inseparable. Together they camped out in the woods, instead of accepting bed offers. They sang together, joked together and told their deepest secrets to each other.

Of course the ride was not a walk in the park. There were a few dangers, like red stop lights, drivers driving across the closed designated race road, snakes, hot pants and even the president. There was nothing they could not overcome together. After 5 days they were known as the perfect duo and everyone placed their bets on them.

On the sixth day, last stretch of the race, Goblin Zlatko and Ninja Kekec placed last, full of laughter and flower crowns.
